The newborn Christ teaches us humility and sensitivity to the needs of others – said the Spokesman of the Polish Bishops’ Conference Fr. Leszek Gęsiak SJ in his Christmas greetings.

We publish the whole text of the greetings:

God who was born in Bethlehem as a helpless Child came to a world plunged in the darkness of sin and death. He also comes today to each of us, to our daily lives, where there is goodness and kindness, but also where there is war, conflict, discord, and violence. He teaches us humility and sensitivity to the needs of others.

May His Peace enter our hearts and awaken the desire to build a future based only on Him, with respect for the other, in the brotherhood of mutual love.
