Pope Francis begins day with visit to Divine Mercy Shrine

Pope Francis continuing his pilgrimage to Poland arrived at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki on Saturday morning.

The pope will visit the local convent chapel where he will be greeted by some 200 nuns of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and their wards.

Next, the pope will hear the confession of five young people and leave for the nearby St. John Paul II Sanctuary where he will celebrate a Mass for some two thousand Polish clergymen and seminarians. (PAP)
