Bishop Miziński: Our whole life is a great pilgrimage
A Christian is a homo viator, one who is always on the way. Our whole life is a great pilgrimage, we are on our way to the Father’s house. As the Church, we are the pilgrim people - said Bishop Artur G. Miziński, Secretary General of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, during a press conference on the pilgrimages #PolskaPielgrzymuje (Poland on Pilgrimage), which took place on July 11 at the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.
26,800 Polish children go this year on holiday with Caritas Poland
This year, about 25,000 children from Poland and over 1,800 Polish children coming from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Georgia will go on holiday within “Caritas Holiday Action”, which has been organized for over 20 years by Caritas Poland. It enables thousands of children to spend their summer months outside the home - in the mountains, in Masuria or at the seaside. The action lasts until August 31.

Protection of children and young people as well as the pastoral agenda for the years 2019/2020 were the principal topics of the plenary meeting of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.
