In a pastoral letter on the occasion of the 13th Education Week, the bishops called to mind the Synod, whose purpose is to discern what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church today. The bishops encouraged us to live the Education Week in a similar spirit - said the Polish Bishops' Conference spokesman, Fr Leszek Gesiak SJ, on the occasion of the 13th Education Week, which began in the Church in Poland on September 10.
The Episcopate spokesman noted that Education Week is held this year from September 10 to 16. Its motto is: "Listening and Evangelizing Community." "It refers to the Church's ongoing Synod on Synodality. On this occasion, the bishops addressed a pastoral letter to the faithful, stressing the need to constantly discern God's will in a person's life at a specific moment in history," the Episcopate spokesman stressed.
"In this context," Fr. Gesiak added, the bishops "called to mind the Synod, whose purpose is to discern what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church today. The bishops encouraged us to experience this Education Week in a similar spirit."
