I ask that all parishes in Poland offer the October rosary prayer for Holy Father Francis, synodal participants, and especially for the Polish delegation - wrote the President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, in an Appeal for Prayer for the First Session of the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod.
The President of the Bishops' Conference of Poland appealed to all the faithful and shepherds of the Catholic Church in Poland "to pray for the First Session of the Sixteenth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod, which will be held in Rome, next month."
"I ask all parishes in Poland to offer the October rosary prayer for the Holy Father Francis, participants in synodal deliberations, and especially for the Polish delegation," Archbishop Gądecki wrote.
The President of the Episcopate requested prayers for the good outcomes of the synodal assembly in all shrines in Poland, particularly the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa at Jasna Gora.
"Through the intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary, let us ask for God's guidance for all participants in the synod so that, exploring God's revelation, under the guidance of the Peter of our time, they will show the paths of holiness to God's people," the President of the Polish Episcopate appealed.
