On Wednesday, December 20, the Apostolic Nuncio to Poland, Archbishop Antonio Guido Filipazzi, paid his first visit to the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops' Conference.
At the seat of the Episcopate Secretariat, the Apostolic Nuncio was welcomed by Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, Bishop Artur G. Miziński, Secretary General of the Episcopate, Msgr. Jarosław Mrówczyński, Deputy Secretary, and the Episcopate Spokesman Fr. Leszek Gęsiak SJ, among others.
Archbishop Filipazzi, during the visit to the Secretariat, prayed in the Chapel of St. John Paul II and saw the plenary hall where Polish Bishops' Conference Assemblies are held.
With Christmas approaching, the Apostolic Nuncio shared a traditional "oplatek" with the staff of the Secretariat.
As a memento of his visit, the Apostolic Nuncio received a copy of the image of Our Lady of Jasna Gora.
