I join spiritually with all those affected by the floods in the southern Poland. I also pray for those providing aid and appeal to people of goodwill for the necessary support for those affected and the victims of the natural disaster – the President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda SAC communicated via social media on 15 September.

Expressions of support and assurances of help and solidarity were also given to the flood victims by bishops from the flood-stricken areas. Bishop Andrzej Czaja of Opole assured that the Church would not leave the flood victims without help. “I want to tell you once again that we are with you and I assure you that we will support you: and with prayer, and with the aid we are organising, and with the resources we will be collecting” – he said in a word addressed to the flood victims.
“I express my heartfelt unity with all those affected by the floods. In a special way, I extend my prayers to those who have lost their life's possessions. I thank the people and institutions who are so sacrificially involved in protecting the local community from new dangers” – Bishop Marek Mendyk of Świdnica wrote on X. He also asked priests and the faithful to help organise support for those affected.
On the same day, Caritas Poland released information about the aid being organised for the affected.
