The ingress of Archbishop Adrian Galbas SAC to the Archcathedral Basilica of St John the Baptist in Warsaw will take place on Saturday, 14 December, at 11 a.m.

"The solemn liturgy will be preceded in the morning by the canonical possession of the Archdiocese of Warsaw" – said Fr Przemysław Śliwiński, spokesman of the Warsaw Archdiocese.
On 4 November the Holy Father accepted the resignation of Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz from the ministry of Archbishop Metropolitan of Warsaw. Archbishop Adrian Józef Galbas SAC, former Metropolitan of Katowice, was appointed the new Archbishop Metropolitan of Warsaw.
