We publish the entire text of the wishes:
May the Lord illuminate the paths of our lives with his light, so that we may know that he alone is Lord of time and history.
God comes into the world to bring us the hope that contemporary man so much needs.
Hope is the theme of the Jubilee Year 2025, which we begin on Christmas Eve. In hope we were saved – as St Paul says. For our hope is Jesus Christ, the One who comes down from Heaven to dwell among us, sharing with us hardships and joys of everyday life.
I wish everyone that the hope and peace that the Newborn Saviour of the world brings with him may be shared by those who doubt and feel fear. May the Lord illuminate the paths of our lives with his light, so that we may know that he alone is Lord of time and history.
I wish everyone a blessed Christmas!
