Primate of Poland Archbishop Wojciech Polak pointed out that in the difficult experience of illness, the Holy Father especially needs our prayers and spiritual support. “Let us ask God for the grace of health for the Holy Father, so that he may return to full strength as soon as possible and continue to lead the Church of Christ, and in his suffering Jesus may give him relief and strengthening”, the Primate of Poland noted.
Archbishop Józef Kupny, Metropolitan of Wrocław and Deputy President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, also encouraged prayer through Mary's intercession. “I ask all the faithful of the Archdiocese of Wrocław and beyond to pray through the intercession of Mary, whom we call the healing of the sick, for the health of Holy Father Francis. For him to experience the closeness of the suffering Jesus. He is our strength and hope”, Archbishop Kupny stressed.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen”.
“Let us offer our prayers for Pope Francis at Mass, during services, in our homes and in the silence of our hearts”, Bishop Sławomir Oder, Bishop of Gliwice, and Bishop Andrzej Iwanecki, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Gliwice, wrote to the faithful.
