Senior Bishop Kazimierz Romaniuk has died
On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in the afternoon, at the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw, at the age of 97, Senior Bishop Kazimierz Romaniuk, senior bishop of the Diocese of Warsaw-Praga passed away.
Bishop Romaniuk was a senior bishop of the Diocese of Warsaw-Praga (2004-2025), the first bishop of Warsaw-Praga (1992-2004), auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Warsaw (1982-1992), and rector of WMSD AW and ASTK (1971-1982).
