Bishop Zbigniew Zieliński – new Archbishop of Poznań
The Holy Father Francis has appointed Bishop Zbigniew Zieliński, until now Bishop of the Diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg, as Archbishop Metropolitan of Poznań. The Pope's decision was announced today at noon by the Apostolic Nunciature in Poland.

The Holy Father Francis has accepted the resignation of Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki from the ministry of Archbishop Metropolitan of Poznań. Bishop Zbigniew Zielinski, formerly Bishop of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg, was appointed as the new Archbishop Metropolitan of Poznań.
Within the Polish Bishops' Conference, Bishop Zbigniew Zieliński is a member of the Council for Social Affairs, a member of the Commission for Charities, and a member of the Audit Committee.
