6 August: Holy Mass for Poland and the President of the Republic of Poland

On Wednesday, 6 August, at 12 noon, Holy Mass will be celebrated for Poland and the new President of the Republic of Poland at the Archcathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw. Representatives of the Polish Bishops’ Conference will take part in the celebrations.

The Holy Mass, for God's blessing for Poland and its new President Karol Nawrocki, will be presided over by the Primate of Poland, Archbishop Wojciech Polak. The homily will be delivered by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Warsaw, Adrian Galbas SAC. The Eucharist will be concelebrated by, among others, the Apostolic Nuncio to Poland Archbishop Antonio Guido Filipazzi, as well as Field Bishop Wiesław Lechowicz, Bishop of Warsaw-Praga Romuald Kamiński and Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Warsaw Piotr Jarecki.

At 10:00 a.m., in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, the President-elect of the Republic of Poland will be sworn in before the National Assembly.
