The third stage of the pilgrimage of the Jasna Góra Image of the Visitation through Polish dioceses began
On the Solemnity of Our Lady of Częstochowa, 26 August this year, the third stage of the pilgrimage of the Jasna Góra Image of the Visitation through Polish dioceses began at Jasna Góra.

After the solemn Eucharist celebrated at Jasna Góra, the Image of the Visitation was handed over to the Diocese of Sosnowiec, where the third stage of its pilgrimage around Poland will begin.
Inviting Our Lady in the Jasna Góra Image of the Visitation to the Diocese of Sosnowiec, Bishop Artur Ważny, Ordinary of Sosnowiec, prayed at Jasna Góra: ‘Our Lady of Jasna Góra, ask your Son that the grace of your visit to our parishes may bear fruit in love, peace and unity in our families and in each one of us.’
During the first stage of its pilgrimage through the Diocese of Sosnowiec, the Image of the Visitation will visit important historical and religious sites, and only later will it set off for individual parishes.
The pilgrimage of the copy of the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa in the Diocese of Sosnowiec will begin on 30 August 2025 in the Cathedral Basilica in Sosnowiec and will end on the anniversary of St. John Paul II's visit to Sosnowiec, 14 June 2026, at Papal Square. It will be held under the motto ‘In Hope with Mary.’
In 1957, the first pilgrimage of the Image of the Visitation began in Polish dioceses. On 3 May 1985, Our Lady in the Jasna Góra Image set off on her second journey. Now she is setting off for the third time, beginning her visitation in the Diocese of Sosnowiec.
