Polish Bishops ask for prayers for peace in the Holy Land
In response to Pope Leo XIV's appeal, Polish bishops gathered at a session of the Council of Diocesan Bishops at Jasna Góra appealed to the faithful to pray for peace in the Holy Land and for all those suffering the cruelties of war in Christ's homeland.

The bishops asked that during the celebration of the Eucharist, a prayer for peace in the Holy Land be included in the general intercessions, for all those suffering the atrocities of war and for a swift and just end to the conflict in Christ's homeland, as well as for the healing of wounds.

The bishops ask for prayers for all those suffering the atrocities of war in the Holy Land, requesting that a call for a swift and just end to the conflict in Christ's homeland and for the healing of wounds be included in universal prayer:
Responding to the appeal of His Holiness Leo XIV, let us pray for peace in the Holy Land and for all those suffering the atrocities of war, for a swift and just end to the conflict, and for the healing of wounds.
