The Presidium, composed of Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda SAC, President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, Archbishop Józef Kupny, Vice-President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, and Bishop Marek Marczak, Secretary General of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, will visit the Vatican. The bishops will visit, among others, the Dicastery for the Clergy, the Dicastery for Bishops, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, and the Secretariat of State.

The Spokesman of the Polish Episcopate indicated that the programme of the visit also includes an audience with Pope Leo XIV. "This will be the first meeting of the Presidium of the Polish Episcopate with Leo XIV. The bishops will convey to the Holy Father the filial devotion of the Polish clergy and faithful, as well as the assurance of the Church in Poland that it will pray for his Petrine ministry," emphasised Fr Gęsiak.

Last year, at the same time, the Presidium of the Polish Bishops’ Conference met with Pope Francis. This is therefore a continuation of meetings between members of the Presidium of the Polish Bishops’ Conference and the Successor of St. Peter.
