May this Sunday be an encouragement to reach for the word of God more often, as it is our guide on the paths of life, said Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda SAC, President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, on the occasion of the 7th Sunday of the Word of God celebrated on 25 January.

The President of the Polish Bishops' Conference reminded that the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time is celebrated throughout the Church as the Sunday of the Word of God. This year's theme is: "The word of Christ dwells among you".
"This initiative reminds us that the Bible is not just a book from the past, but the living Word through which God speaks to us today," Archbishop Wojda pointed out. He admitted that "when we read the Holy Scriptures, we allow the word of God to enlighten our thoughts, strengthen our faith and guide us in our daily lives and choices."
"May this Sunday be an encouragement to reach for God's word more often, which is our guide on the paths of life," said the President of the Polish Bishops' Conference.
