Poland: 15 February – Nationwide Caritas collection in support of Ukraine
In view of the dramatic situation in Ukraine, the President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda SAC, has asked the bishops to organize, in their dioceses, a collection in support of Ukraine on Sunday, 15 February 2026, after every Holy Mass.

The funds raised will be donated to those affected through Caritas Poland. Some dioceses have already decided to hold the collection for Ukraine on a different date.
In this context, the President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference also recalled the words of the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, spoken during the general audience on Wednesday, 4 February this year:
“I express my gratitude for the initiatives of solidarity undertaken in Catholic dioceses in Poland and other countries, which seek to help the population survive this period of severe frost.”
