The Spokesman of the Polish Bishops' Conference: Let us proclaim with courage and joy the truth of the Lord’s Resurrection

May the joy of the Resurrection fill our hearts with hope and strengthen our faith, so that we may carry the light of Christ wherever darkness still prevails – said the spokesman of the Polish Bishops’ Conference Fr Leszek Gęsiak SJ in his Easter greetings.

We publish the whole text of the greetings:

Christ is risen and lives!

May the light that flows from Christ’s empty tomb drives away the darkness of our world and fills human hearts. May the desire for peace arise wherever wars and conflicts continue; wherever fear and uncertainty prevail, may a sense of security and hope appear; and wherever people are divided by quarrels and mutual prejudice, may the Risen Lord bring reconciliation, harmony, and mutual understanding.

Let us proclaim with courage and joy the truth of the Lord’s Resurrection. Christ, who has conquered death and all evil, goes before us, leads us through difficulties, and shows us the path that leads to true freedom, peace, and fullness of life.

May the joy of the Resurrection fill our hearts with hope and strengthen our faith, so that we may carry the light of Christ wherever darkness still prevails.

Blessed Easter!
