The Spokesman of the Polish Bishops’ Conference encourages prayer and reflection during Advent
We are invited to go through this time of Advent as missionaries, preparing ourselves spiritually and asking God for all the graces we need to make it a holy time – said Fr Leszek Gęsiak SJ, spokesman of the Polish Bishops' Conference, on the occasion of the beginning of Advent.

The Spokesman of the Polish Episcopate reminded that on the first Sunday of Advent, we begin a new liturgical year and a new pastoral year in the Church in Poland 2025/2026, which will be accompanied by the motto: “Disciples-missionaries”.
“Each of us can be a missionary. We are invited to go through this time of Advent as missionaries, preparing ourselves spiritually and asking God for all the graces we need to make it a holy time, a time of good preparation for Christmas”, said Fr Gęsiak.
The Spokesman of the Polish Bishops' Conference encouraged everyone to pray and reflect during this special liturgical season of Advent.
