Council of Diocesan Bishops

The Diocesan Bishops’ Council was established in 2009. It is made up of all diocesan bishops and those who are legally equal to them among the members of the Polish Bishops’ Conference. The Council’s prerogatives include the examination of and making decisions concerning governance of dioceses, general directions of pastoral tasks and administrative and financial matters. The Council is convened by the President of the Conference once a year and whenever required by specific circumstances.
