The three Polish metropolitan archbishops will receive the pallium from Pope Leo XIV on Monday, June 29. The solemn Mass, during which the Pope will bless the palliums and personally place them on the shoulders of the new metropolitan archbishops, will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

The pallium is a white woolen band worn over the chasuble and adorned with equal-armed crosses. It symbolizes the special bond between the Pope and metropolitan archbishops throughout the world.
