President of the Episcopate: September 5th - Day of Solidarity with Afghans

On Sunday, September 5th, in the Church in Poland there will be a “Day of Solidarity with Afghans.” Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, the President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, appealed to the pastors and the faithful of the Catholic Church in Poland for prayer and material help for the Afghans.

The Week in Summary (September 15-21)

Welcome to the new episode of the life of the Catholic Church in Poland. Here are the most important things. The ending week was lived in the Church in Poland as the 9th Week of Education under the motto: “Teacher, where are you staying?”. It was marked by many educational and social events and conferences. The bishops issued a pastoral letter on this occasion where they wrote that the place of shaping bond is in the family.

The Polish Church Awaiting Pope Francis

All pastoral letters and all the reports drawn up at the end of the Plenary Assemblies of the Polish Episcopal Conference in 2015 and 2016 refer to Pope Francis. This is the sign of a personal bond with the Successor of Peter who will soon arrive in person in Poland.
