La Conferencia Episcopal de Polonia expresa su gratitud al Santo Padre Francisco por el don del Sínodo de los Obispos, cuyo tema este año será “La vocación y la misión de la familia en la Iglesia y en el mundo contemporáneo”. También damos las gracias a los millones de polacos, incluso comunidades y movimientos familiares, que están orando por Papa Francisco, los cardenales, los obispos y las personas que participarán en el Sínodo. Animamos a todos a seguir pidiendo por el Sínodo, en el que – a petición del Santo Padre – los obispos de Polonia participarán con alegría y solicitud por las familias.
Position of the Polish Bishops before the XIV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops (4-25.10.2015)
The Polish Bishops' Conference expresses its gratitude to the Holy Father Francis for the gift of the Synod of Bishops, whose theme this year will be "The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and Contemporary World." We also thank the millions of Poles - including family communities and movements - who are praying for Pope Francis, the Cardinals, the Bishops and people who will take part in the Synod. We encourage everyone to continue praying for the synod, in which - at the request of the Holy Father - Bishops from Poland will participate with joy and care for the families.
