Letter of Fraternal Concern from the Episcopate’s President regarding the German “Synodal Path”
Bearing in mind this communion of faith and history between Poland and Germany, I would like to express my deep concern and anxiety with regard to the information that has been recently received from some spheres of the Catholic Church in Germany - wrote the President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, Archbishop Stanislaw Gądecki, in a letter addressed to the President of the German Bishops’ Conference, Bishop Georg Bätzing, regarding the German “synodal path”.

Medioznawca, kierownik Katedry Mediów i Komunikacji Społecznej Akademii Ignatianum w Krakowie, a wcześniej kierownik Sekcji Polskiej Radia Watykańskiego o. dr Leszek Gęsiak SJ został wybrany rzecznikiem Konferencji Episkopatu Polski. Zastąpi on ks. dr. Pawła Rytel-Andrianika, który pełnił tę funkcję przez pięcioletnią kadencję.

(Vatican Radio) The Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors has released a communiqué at the end of its week-long Plenary Assembly at the Vatican. Dated February 8, 2016, the statement details the focal points and proposals that emerged from the six Working Groups of the session, including a request for Pope Francis to remind all authorities in the Church of the importance of responding directly to victims and survivors who approach them, the finalization of a Universal Day of Prayer, and a penitential liturgy.

During the Eucharist celebrated on 13 March 2023 with the participation of the Polish Bishops' Conference at the Divine Providence Church in Warsaw, thanks were also given for 10 years of the pontificate of Pope Francis.
