The post-modernist totalitarianism that is killing the soul but not the body of the young was the focused of Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki during afternoon session of October 9th, of the Synod of Bishops on youth now being held in the Vatican. According to the President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, this totalitarianism is also an obstacle for young people themselves in making a vocational choice.
India's church leaders criticize order to fly flag at universities
Indian church leaders have criticized the federal government's decision to require India's flag be displayed at universities to instill a sense of nationalism among students, saying the government misunderstands the issue. The federal ministry of human resource and development Feb. 18 asked the vice chancellors of 39 central universities to "prominently and proudly" display the flag at their respective campuses. The decision has come amid the backdrop of alleged anti-India slogans raised by students at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi, forcing the government to press sedition charges against those accused.

President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference asks to join in novena prayer for the Homeland
The President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki invites everyone to join the novena prayer „Action 21:20”. It will be a prayer recited after the Jasna Góra Appeal for the Homeland, national harmony and respect for human life, offered through the intercession of St Andrzej Bobola and Bl. Fr Jerzy Popiełuszko. The novena will begin on 16 March and end on 24 March, before the Day of the Sanctity of Life, which falls on 25 March.

Especially when their health is deteriorating or situations where their life is threatened, hospitals are obliged to allow patients to contact a priest of their religious confession, and the medical institution must cover the costs of this service. This is inscribed in Polish law, among the highest-ranking acts of the country's laws and regulations.
