The Week in Summary (October 27 – November 2)
The week began with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of episcopal ordination of Monsignor Achille Ratti. He was the first papal nuncio to independent Poland and then Pope Pius XI. The solemn Eucharist in St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw was presided by Archbishop Mario Delpini, metropolitan of Milan.
