Bishop Miziński: Our whole life is a great pilgrimage
A Christian is a homo viator, one who is always on the way. Our whole life is a great pilgrimage, we are on our way to the Father’s house. As the Church, we are the pilgrim people - said Bishop Artur G. Miziński, Secretary General of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, during a press conference on the pilgrimages #PolskaPielgrzymuje (Poland on Pilgrimage), which took place on July 11 at the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.

Sprawowaną pod Pomnikiem Powstania Warszawskiego Eucharystią uczczono pamięć uczestników zrywu w przeddzień 75. rocznicy jego wybuchu. Po Mszy św. odbył się apel pamięci i ceremonia złożenia kwiatów pod pomnikiem.

Będąc świadkiem ofiarnej miłości, Ojciec Maksymilian Maria Kolbe był jednocześnie świadkiem fundamentu wszelkiej autentycznej miłości, jaką jest wolność - mówił abp Marek Jędraszewski podczas Mszy św. z okazji 78. rocznicy śmierci św. Maksymiliana M. Kolbego. Eucharystia była sprawowana przy ołtarzu polowym na Placu Apelowym przy Bloku 11 w Auschwitz z udziałem między innymi arcybiskupa Bambergu Ludwiga Schicka i bpa Jerzego Maculewicza OFM, administratora apostolskiego w Uzbekistanie. Wcześniej duchowni złożyli wiązanki kwiatów pod ścianą śmierci oraz modlili się w celi, w której śmiercią głodową zmarł św. o. Kolbe.
Participants of the National Pilgrimage of the Spiritual Adoption of a Conceived Child have met at Jasna Góra
Under the motto “Covered with Mary’s mantle”, on the first Saturday of the month, September 7, the 3rd National Pilgrimage of the Spiritual Adoption of a Conceived Child to Jasna Góra took place. St. Pope John Paul II gave his blessing to this initiative. It is also supported by Polish Bishops’ Conference.

This year’s Day of Solidarity will take place on November 10.
