COMECE: European Union legislation does not provide for the right to abortion
Neither European Union legislation nor the European Convention on Human Rights provide for the right to abortion, reads a letter from the Standing Committee of the European Community Bishops' Committees (COMECE) to the President of the European Parliament, David Maria Sassoli, on the resolution of the European Parliament of November 26, 2020.
