Church commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the tragic events in Volhynia will be held on 7-9 July in Poland and Ukraine. Representatives from the Catholic Church in Poland, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine will be in attendance. A statement on forgiveness and reconciliation will be signed jointly during the ceremony.

Venerdì 7 luglio, si è svolta nell'Arcicattedrale di Varsavia la Funzione "Perdono e Riconciliazione" nell'ambito delle celebrazioni ecclesiali per l'80.mo anniversario del massacro di Volinia. Alla celebrazione hanno partecipato rappresentanti della Chiesa cattolica in Polonia, della Chiesa greco-cattolica ucraina e della Chiesa cattolica romana in Ucraina. Durante la cerimonia, è stato firmato un messaggio congiunto.
