The uniqueness of this Pope’s Day lies in the fact that we experience it in the year in which the universal Church and the Church in Poland is celebrating the 100th anniversary of John Paul II’s birth. Therefore, let us make sure that the Pope’s Day is lived with full commitment at the parish level, with the full involvement of cities and villages, with full commitment in the dioceses and in Warsaw itself - said Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, metropolitan of Warsaw and chairman of the Council of the “Work of the New Millennium” Foundation, during a press conference before the 19th Pope’s Day, which we will take place on Sunday, October 13 under the motto: “Rise, Let Us Be On Our Way”.
