Wskazuje na to włoski biskup Riccardo Fontana uczestniczący w trwającej tam właśnie wizycie solidarności grupy biskupów z Europy, Ameryki Północnej i RPA. Ta doroczna pielgrzymka służy m.in. zapoznaniu się z aktualną sytuację wyznawców Chrystusa w Izraelu i na terenie Autonomii Palestyńskiej, a ma też na celu umacnianie tamtejszych Kościołów i chrześcijan.
Pope makes surprise visit to San Carlo community
(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis on Friday paid a surprise visit to the San Carlo community at the Italian Centre for Solidarity (CeIS) near Castelgandalfo in the Alban hills. Founded by Father Mario Picchi, the San Carlo community works to prevent and combat social exclusion, focusing especially on those suffering from drug addiction.

Contact group of the Episcopates of Poland and Germany met in Augsburg
The annual meeting of the contact group of the Bishops' Conferences of Poland and Germany took place on April 25-27. Bertram Maier, bishop of the Augsburg diocese, hosted the meeting. This year, the Augsburg diocese is celebrating the 1100th anniversary of the bishop ordination of St. Ulric, the Patron Saint of the diocese, and the 1050th of his death. The jubilee is celebrated under the motto: Hear with the heart.
