The Polish Bishops’ Conference: Zero Tolerance for the Crimes of Sexual Abuse of Minors by Clergy
We publish data on the activities of the Church in Poland concerning the prevention of sexual exploitation of minors by members of the clergy. These include assistance to victims, prosecution of perpetrators and development of prevention programs. The Catholic Church is the most advanced institution in this field in our country.

- On behalf of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, we thank the organizers of the civic legislative initiative “Halt abortion”, volunteers collecting signatures, 830,000 of citizens who have signed up to this draft law and all the parliamentarians who – by voting for life – supported this civic draft law. We trust that soon the legal guarantees to protect the lives of the weakest will be increased by stopping eugenic abortion – to quote from the Communication of the Presidium of the Polish Bishops’ Conference from January 11, 2018.
In Poland, Joint Action of the Church and the Police to Promote Pedestrian’s Security
Wearing reflectors that allow greater visibility on the road was called for conjointly by representatives of the Polish police force, the Polish Bishops’ Conference, and the Polish Ecumenical Council, which includes, among others, the Orthodox and Lutheran Churches.
