#Zaduszki (All Souls) in Social Media – a New Initiative
“The memory of those have departed can be extended through an internet initiative. Using the hashtag #Zaduszki, twitter users can share photos of the graves and necropolises of the dead [as traditionally lit with candles] at this time of year. This is a new way of reminding our Social Media friends about the need to pray for the souls of the dead, hence the name of the action ‘#Zaduszki’” said spokesman of the Polish Bishops' Conference Father Paweł Rytel-Andrianik.

“If parents decide not to bring up a child, they can always pass the child up for adoption, especially when so many families are ready to care for them. Killing children should never take place. Instead of Abortion – Adoption!” writes the Presidium of the Polish Bishops’ Conference in an appeal concerning the protection of the right to life from the moment of conception till natural death.
Appeal of the Presidium of the Polish Bishops’ Conference on stopping eugenic abortion
There will soon be proceeded the civic legislative initiative “Halt Abortion”, which presupposes the removal of the possibility of killing a child due to the suspicion of disability or illness (eugenic abortion). The Polish Bishops’ Conference from the beginning supports this initiative as an important step to full protection of life and thanks some 830,000 Polish citizens who have signed the draft law.

Jego rektorem jest chrystusowiec, ks. Robert Będziński. W tym roku w obchodzonym w nim po raz pierwszy Świętem Miłosierdzia zainaugurowano jego działalność.
