Bishop Miziński: Our whole life is a great pilgrimage
A Christian is a homo viator, one who is always on the way. Our whole life is a great pilgrimage, we are on our way to the Father’s house. As the Church, we are the pilgrim people - said Bishop Artur G. Miziński, Secretary General of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, during a press conference on the pilgrimages #PolskaPielgrzymuje (Poland on Pilgrimage), which took place on July 11 at the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.

Plenary Assembly of the Polish Conference of Major Superiors of Women Religious
Hopes and challenges related to the consecrated life as well as the protection of personal data have been some of the topics of the assembly of the Conference of Major Superiors of Women Religious in Poland. The Plenary Assembly took place on April 9-11 in the Plenary Hall of the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference in Warsaw.
The study concerning reported cases of sexual abuse of minors
382 reported cases of sexual abuse of minors, including 198 cases concerning minors under the age of 15, and 184 above the age of 15; the reported cases cover the time from January 1, 1990, to June 30, 2018 - according to the data received by the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference from all dioceses and religious orders. They were elaborated by the Institute for Catholic Church Statistics and the Child Protection Centre.

#PodajDalej (Pass it on) – Let’s pass reflectors on and be safe on the road!
On Thursday, September 20, the representatives of the National Police Headquarters and the Church in Poland met in the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference in Warsaw to promote together road safety and encourage pedestrians to join the “Pass it on” campaign. As the organizers explain, the point is to give each other reflectors with dedication, so that they remind us of the need for safety. “Give your family and friends a reflector as a gift. Reflectors mean simply life”, said Fr. Paweł Rytel-Andrianik, spokesman of the Episcopate.
