Vorrei ricordare le parole del Signore Gesù scritte dalla santa nel suo Diario: "L'umanità non conoscerà la pace finché non si volgerà alla fonte della mia misericordia" – ha scritto Papa Francesco in una lettera al Vescovo della diocesi di Płock (Polonia), Piotr Libera, in occasione del 90.mo anniversario della prima apparizione di Gesù Misericordioso a Santa Faustina Kowalska che ha avuto luogo il 22 febbraio 1931 a Płock.

Welcoming the Pope at Wawel, Polish Episcopal Conference President Abp. Stanislaw Gadecki said that the pontiff's pilgrimage came during the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. "The church in Poland feels a special responsibility in this area. This is because the message of mercy is closely connected with a daughter of our country, St. Faustina Kowalska, as well as with St. Pope John Paul II, both of whom - through their lives and their writing - brought its value closer to us," he remarked.
Pope awaited in Brzegi
On Saturday (July 30), Pope Francis will meet with pilgrims in Brzegi to keep vigil and pray together. The Holy Father will not only deliver a speech to the young, but he will hear their testimonies as well. The first event to take place at the Misericordiae Campus in Brzegi is the Vigil of the young with Francis. Then, on Sunday (July 31), the pope will celebrate the Final Mass concluding the World Youth Day.

Duszpasterstwa Emigracji Polskiej z okazji inauguracji sanktuarium Bożego Miłosierdzia w Salem. Sanktuarium św. Jana Pawła II Bożego Miłosierdzia w Salem powstało 3 sierpnia 2017 roku. Jego rektorem jest chrystusowiec, ks. Robert Będziński. W tym roku w obchodzonym w nim po raz pierwszy Świętem Miłosierdzia zainaugurowano jego działalność.
