President of the Polish Bishops' Conference: The bishops' visit to Ukraine has achieved its goal
The purpose of the visit was to show that the Roman Catholic Church in Poland stands in solidarity with the plight of the Churches in Ukraine and to draw attention to the need for prayer for those who were murdered - Archbishop Stanislaw Gądecki, President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, said at a press conference in Poznan that summarized the visit of Polish bishops to Ukraine from 17 to 20 May.
Contact group of the Episcopates of Poland and Germany met in Augsburg
The annual meeting of the contact group of the Bishops' Conferences of Poland and Germany took place on April 25-27. Bertram Maier, bishop of the Augsburg diocese, hosted the meeting. This year, the Augsburg diocese is celebrating the 1100th anniversary of the bishop ordination of St. Ulric, the Patron Saint of the diocese, and the 1050th of his death. The jubilee is celebrated under the motto: Hear with the heart.

The Metropolitan of Lublin presided over the Holy Mass and delivered a homily during the celebrations to honor the 480th anniversary of the death of Copernicus, the author of "On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres".
