Activities of the Church in Poland in terms of prevention and protection of children and youth 2005-2019
Since 2005, the Catholic Church has been particularly involved in efforts to protect children and young people against sexual abuse by clerics. At the initiative of the Church, the Child Protection Center was established, about 3,000 priests were trained in prevention, and in each diocese there is a delegate dealing with the protection of children and youth.

Bishops of Europe on Auschwitz-Birkenau liberation anniversary: No to anti-Semitism and political manipulation of the truth
The 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, in the spirit of Pope Francis’ words, obliges us to expressly fight against all acts that trample on human dignity: racism, xenophobia and anti-Semitism. We cannot allow the truth to be ignored or manipulated for immediate political needs – we read in the Statement issued by the Presidency of the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences (CCEE) and the President of the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE) on behalf of the bishops of Europe.

W II niedzielę Wielkiego Postu w Kościele w Polsce obchodzimy niedzielę „Ad Gentes” – Dzień Modlitwy, Postu i Solidarności z misjonarzami. Wyszyńskiego jako przesłanie dla współczesnego Kościoła i narodu polskiego”.

Community with the victims - with this motto, the Church in Poland will celebrate the Day of Prayer and Atonement for the Sin of Sexual Abuse of Minors on the first Friday of Lent -February 19th, 2021. “People hurt in this way have the right to count on the fact that they will not lack the spiritual support of the entire ecclesial community on the long and difficult road to recovery,” as Msgr. Wojciech Polak, the Polish Bishops' Conference Delegate for the Protection of Children and Youth, emphasises.
