Synodal National Synthesis: the Synod indicates the need to learn to walk hand in hand to build the community of the Church
The synodal consultations indicated a desire to improve the way the Church functions and not to change doctrine or structure. The need for change concerns not only the institution of the Church. Central to this process is the personal conversion of both laity and clergy, according to the National Synthesis of the Synod on Synodality, presented at a press conference in Jasna Góra on 25 August 2022.

« Le 75ème anniversaire de la libération du camp de concentration d’Auschwitz-Birkenau, dans l’esprit des paroles du pape François, nous oblige à lutter expressément contre tous les actes qui portent atteinte à la dignité humaine : le racisme, la xénophobie et l’antisémitisme. Nous ne pouvons pas permettre que la vérité soit ignorée ou manipulée pour des besoins politiques immédiats », peut-on lire dans la déclaration qui, au nom des évêques d’Europe, a été publiée par le Bureau du Conseil de la Conférence des évêques d’Europe (CCEE) et le Président de la Commission des Épiscopats de l’Union européenne (COMECE).

Z okazji 90. urodzin Benedykta XVI w siedzibie Konferencji Episkopatu Polski w Warszawie 19 kwietnia odbędzie się konferencja naukowa poświęcona koncepcji państwa w nauczaniu Papieża-Seniora. Gościem współorganizowanej przez watykańską Fundację Josepha Ratzingera, Sekretariat Konferencji Episkopatu Polski i Sejm RP sesji będzie m.in. prefekt Kongregacji Nauki Wiary kard. Gerhard Müller.

- Chrystusowe wezwanie do miłosierdzia jest nadal aktualne – piszą biskupi w liście pasterskim, który będzie odczytywany w kościołach w Polsce w Niedzielę Miłosierdzia, 23 kwietnia. Biskupi podkreślają rolę pomocy udzielanej potrzebującym przez Caritas Polska, która w tym dniu obchodzi swe święto patronalne. Zachęcają też do wspierania dzieł Caritas, m.in. do wsparcia ofiar wojny w Syrii.
