Archbishop Hoser: prophetic voice of “Humanae vitae” on the results of contraception
The voice of the “Humanae vitae” encyclical on the results of contraception turned out to be prophetic. Pope Paul VI aptly predicted that its application would open the easy path of marital unfaithfulness and the general fall of manners - said Archbishop Henryk Hoser during the session dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of Paul VI’s “Humanae vitae”, which took place on June 12 at the seat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.

Ordynariusz diecezji kieleckiej odprawił Mszę św. w intencji kierowców, podczas której poświęcił pojazdy znajdujące się na placu przed Bazyliką Katedralną. 25 lipca przypada dzień św Krzysztofa, patrona kierowców. The Church facing pandemic: millions of people pray online
TV, radio and online broadcasts of the Holy Mass, prayer of the Rosary at 8.30 p.m. for an end of the pandemic and Internet retreats - these are some of the initiatives taken by the Church in Poland due to the ongoing epidemic emergency in Poland and the reduction of the number of people in churches. All dioceses have been involved in the on-line initiatives - says Fr. Paweł Rytel-Andrianik, the spokesman of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.
