The President of the Polish Bishops' calls for prayers and help for Syria
A prayer for peace in Syria and its inclusion in the program of Caritas "Rodzina Rodzinie" (Family for Family) has been called for by Archbishop Stanislaw Gądecki, President of the Polish Bishops' Conference, who personally supports one of the Syrian families). The Archbishop also thanked the Poles for their commitment to helping the Syrians through the Pontifical Foundation "Aid to the Church in Need".

All dioceses in Poland celebrated the 104th World Day of Migrants and Refugees
The Church in Poland has actively participated in celebration of the World Day of Migrants and Refugees on Sunday, January 14. In many churches throughout the country there were masses celebrated according form “For Refugees and Exiles”. The Polish Bishops’ Conference appealed to the faithful to engage in specific assistance to migrants from the Middle East and Ukraine. There are 1.5 Million Ukrainian refugees living in Poland.
