Spotkali się delegaci KWPZM ds. zakonów męskich w diecezjach
W ramach statutowych działań Sekretariatu Konferencji Wyższych Przełożonych Zakonów Męskich w Polsce (KWPZM), w siedzibie Sekretariatu Konferencji Episkopatu Polski, 13 maja odbyło się cykliczne spotkanie delegatów ds. zakonów męskich KWPZM w diecezjach polskich z Konsultą KWPZM. Uczestniczyło w nim 28 delegatów oraz delegat Biskupa Polowego, którzy spotkali się na wspólnej modlitwie oraz wzajemnej wymianie doświadczeń, związanych z animowaniem wspólnego zaangażowania męskich zgromadzeń zakonnych na poziomie Kościołów partykularnych.
Statement of the President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference after having watched Tomasz Sekielski’s film
Today I was deeply moved and saddened when watching Mr. Sekielski's film, and I would like to thank him for this film. For the most part, the message of the film corresponds to my experience gained during the many conversations I have held with the victims. I am convinced that this film, too, will result in an even more stringent compliance with the guidelines for the protection of children and young people in the Church, in the implementation by all bishops of prevention principles in each diocese, and in the compliance with the Motu proprio that Pope Francis promulgated the day before yesterday.

Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, the President of the Polish Episcopate, on behalf of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, asked Pope Francis to proclaim St. John Paul II Doctor of the Church and Patron of Europe. This request was supported by Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz on October 22, 2019, during the “Europa Christi” Movement Congress in Warsaw.

« Le 75ème anniversaire de la libération du camp de concentration d’Auschwitz-Birkenau, dans l’esprit des paroles du pape François, nous oblige à lutter expressément contre tous les actes qui portent atteinte à la dignité humaine : le racisme, la xénophobie et l’antisémitisme. Nous ne pouvons pas permettre que la vérité soit ignorée ou manipulée pour des besoins politiques immédiats », peut-on lire dans la déclaration qui, au nom des évêques d’Europe, a été publiée par le Bureau du Conseil de la Conférence des évêques d’Europe (CCEE) et le Président de la Commission des Épiscopats de l’Union européenne (COMECE).
