The week began with the announcement of the second edition of the “Pole with heart” campaign, organized by the Catholic Youth Association. The campaign is taking place this weekend. The action consists in collection of food and SMS campaign for Poles from the East. The action is held under the auspices of Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, president of the Polish Episcopate. He said that thanks to this campaign, apart from material support, young people build relationships with our compatriots in the East.

150 provincial and general superiors representing active female religious institutes met in Warsaw at the 140th Plenary Assembly of the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious in Poland. This year’s assembly focused on the matters concerning formation. There are 17,553 Polish active nuns who serve in such areas of ecclesiastical and social life in Poland and abroad as educational work, various forms of youth assistance, catechization and other forms of evangelization, as well as spiritual and material help.
