Bishop Miziński: Our whole life is a great pilgrimage
A Christian is a homo viator, one who is always on the way. Our whole life is a great pilgrimage, we are on our way to the Father’s house. As the Church, we are the pilgrim people - said Bishop Artur G. Miziński, Secretary General of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, during a press conference on the pilgrimages #PolskaPielgrzymuje (Poland on Pilgrimage), which took place on July 11 at the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.

Protection of children and young people as well as the pastoral agenda for the years 2019/2020 were the principal topics of the plenary meeting of the Polish Bishops’ Conference. The bishops convened in Wałbrzych, Diocese of Świdnica, on June 13-14, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the diocese. Statistical data concerning abuse of minors by some clerics, family values and celebration of Sunday, protection of human life and the issue of attempts to interfere in the organization of religion classes at school - were the topics of the 382nd Plenary Assembly of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, which ended on March 14 in Warsaw. In addition to the Communication summarizing the Assembly, the bishops issued two positions: on the celebration of Sunday and on the so-called LGBT-Carta.
Prostyn: The only Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity in Poland received yesterday Pope’s blessing
During the diocesan celebrations in the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity and St. Anna in Prostyn, the crown and nimbus blessed by Pope Francis were imposed on the miraculous statue of the Holy Trinity, called the Throne of Grace. The ceremony took place on May 27, at the end of the octave for the 500th anniversary of the apparitions of St. Anna in Prostyn.
