Il 25-26 settembre 2018 si è tenuta a Płock l’Assemblea Plenaria della Conferenza Episcopale Polacca. L'incontro è stato guidato dall'arcivescovo Stanisław Gądecki, Presidente della Conferenza Episcopale Polacca. All'inizio del dibattito si è rivolto ai vescovi l'arcivescovo Salvatore Pennacchio, Nunzio Apostolico in Polonia. Durante l’assemblea plenaria i vescovi hanno pregato per Papa Francesco che stava visitando i paesi baltici con il servizio apostolico.
