Bishop Miziński: Our whole life is a great pilgrimage
A Christian is a homo viator, one who is always on the way. Our whole life is a great pilgrimage, we are on our way to the Father’s house. As the Church, we are the pilgrim people - said Bishop Artur G. Miziński, Secretary General of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, during a press conference on the pilgrimages #PolskaPielgrzymuje (Poland on Pilgrimage), which took place on July 11 at the Secretariat of the Polish Bishops’ Conference.
The Pope drew attention to Archbishop Gadecki’s Speech
Speaking with the Polish delegation on October 10th, during the session’s break, Pope Francis expressed interest in the speech of the Synod Father from Poland, Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki. The Pope said that he liked it, especially because a biblical scholar addressed a social issue. “The Holy Father drew attention to Archbishop Gądecki’s pertinent observations regarding the new totalitarianism that is shaping the attitudes of young people and destroying them,” reported Bishop Marian Florczyk, who was present at the meeting with the Pope.

Hlond, Primate of Poland, of his negative attitude towards the Jewish people, on basis of the Primate’s Lenten Pastoral Letter from 1936 entitled „Catholic moral principles”, and of the alleged lack of reaction of Card. Hlond after the Kielce pogrom in 1946, the Postulation Office of Card. Hlond released a statement and two documents showing the relationship of Card. Hlond to the Jewish people.
