In this new year, let us open ourselves to God’s love, so that it fills our homes, families and communities – said the Spokesman of the Polish Bishops’ Conference in his New Year’s wishes.

We publish the whole text of the wishes:

“The New Year, as always, brings us hope for a better tomorrow. But what will this hope be if we do not direct it towards Jesus Christ? He alone is capable of changing the face of the earth plagued by armed conflicts, the deaths of innocent people, the despair of refugees who have had to flee their homes from hatred and violence. It is in Him alone that we place our trust that the fate of the nations will be changed.

So let us trust and ask the Lord, who came into the world as the Prince of Peace, to fill human hearts with love, respect and kindness towards our neighbors. In this new year, let us open ourselves to God’s love, so that it fills our homes, families and communities.

May the Lord bless everyone every day of the New Year!”
