He, who places himself in our hands as a defenceless Child, makes us realise that peace, reconciliation and goodness begin with the humble opening of our hearts to God’s love – said the Spokesman of the Polish Bishops’ Conference Fr. Leszek Gęsiak SJ on the occasion of Christmas.

We publish the whole text of the wishes:

“God became one of us in order to raise people to the dignity of his children. Coming into the world, he gave us the most beautiful gift: infinite and unconditional love.

Love is what everyone waits for and longs for. In a world torn apart by armed conflicts, aggression and violence, it is the only thing that can overcome the spiral of hatred. God became human to teach it to us and to give us hope. For He himself is Love.

He, who places himself in our hands as a defenceless Child, makes us realise that peace, reconciliation and goodness begin with the humble opening of our hearts to God’s love. May Jesus come to each of us in these special days with his gift of love and peace.

Have a blessed Christmas!”
