We congratulate him on pastoral ministry exercised zealously and wisely for the spiritual good of the Gniezno and Poznań fold, as well as on his activity in the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences, and especially in the Polish Bishops’ Conference, over which he presides with solicitude, as well as his conscientious activity in various Dicasteries of the Roman Curia – wrote the Holy Father Francis in his wishes addressed to Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, Metropolitan of Poznań and President of the Polish Bishops’ Conference, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of priestly ordination.

Venerable Brother

STANISŁAW GĄDECKI

To the Metropolitan Archbishop of Poznań, who is happily celebrating the golden jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood, we congratulate with sincere hearts on this joyful event and on his pastoral ministry exercised zealously and wisely for the spiritual good of the Gniezno and Poznań fold, as well as on his activity in the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences, and especially in the Polish Bishops’ Conference, over which he presides with solicitude, as well as on his conscientious activity in the various Dicasteries of the Roman Curia.  Invoking abundant graces and gifts of the Holy Spirit the Paraclete, we lovingly impart the blessing, which is a pledge of heavenly grace, to him and his loved ones, as well as to the faithful of the entire Archdiocese of Poznań, with an urgent and heartfelt request for prayers for the proper exercise of our office.
